Took a few listens to catch me but when it did, whew. Takes me back to the days of 90s emo but with lyricism that goes so far beyond. The breadth of musical styles on display, the breadth of subjects covered, adds up to a towering, humanistic work. Few bands can be so hook-averse yet so packed with creativity, and there's at least one vocal moment on every single track that blows me away. I can't imagine this not winding up being the best punk album of '21. PaintedDogs

Across their second full-length, the London post-punks offer up thrumming motoriks, industrial tones, and sullen sing-a-longs in abundance. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 17, 2024
Winter Park is a song that I swear is a decade old. Originally written because Eric was tired of every song being (in his words) an angry/sad/break up/FU song and wanted to prove to himself he could write something else. After a handful of years I sent the acoustic demo then titled "Don't Need No Credit Card To Ride This Train" back to Eric who said they might rework it into an actual song one day. Another six years and here it is in all of its glory. Anthony Allegra
